Quick Charge Technology Big Evolution?
Quick Charge is a huge evolution in charging technology. It is a fast charging technology, similar to VOOC charge and Dash charge technology. Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs use Quick charge technology to reduce charging time.
Quick Charge 1.0
Quick Charge 1.0 was introduced in 2013 which has 10 W max power and capacity to deliver up to 6.3 V- 2 A. The Quick charge 1.0 comes with two new features AICL (Automatic Input Current Limit) and APSD (Automatic Power Source Detection), but a Standard charger does not include this features. Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor is compatible with Quick charge 1.0.
- It is 40% faster than a Standard charger because of the PMIC(Power Management Integrated Circuit).
Quick Charge 2.0
Quick Charge 2.0 was a true upgrade of Quick charge 1.0. Which delivers 36 W fast charging which supports 5V, 9V, 12V, 20V and 3A, 2A, 1.67A. It has been introduced in 2014 with some new features like HVDCP (High Voltage Dedicated Charging Port) and Dual charge is optional. Qualcomm Snapdragon 200(208, 210, 212), 400(410, 412, 415, 425), 600(615, 616), 800(801,805,808,810) series some processor are compatible.

Quick Charge 3.0
Quick Charge 3.0 is available for users in 2016 with some nominal upgrade. This upgrade beings all-new Battery Saver Technologies, INOV 1.0 & 2.0, HVDCP+ and Dual Charge+. But Dual charge remains optional different devices. It has additional dynamic 200mV increments.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 400(427, 430, 435, 450), 600(620, 625,626,632,650,652,653,665), 800(820,821) series some processor are compatible with Quick Charge 3.0. Moreover, all functionality is not enabled in devices due to their brand limitations.
- It is a bosted version of Quick Charge 2.0, It can charge a device up yo 80% in just 35 minutes.
Quick Charge 4.0
Quick Charge 4.0 is the first charger that Detects The Cable Quality.
This comes with 3.6V to 20V but it also has 5 V, 9 V via new USB-Power Delivery. It delivers a current of 2.6 A / 4.6 A and haves a max power of 100 W (20 V * 5 A) via Quick Charge. It is compatible with mid-range Snapdragon processors (630, 636, 660) as well as some high-end processor(710, 835). Quick Charge comes with upgraded features which include Battery Saver Technologies 2, INOV 3.0, HVDCP++ and Dual Charge++. It is available for users in 2017 with the latest and powerful upgrades but Dual Charge is still an optional feature.

Quick Charge 4.0+
Quick Charge 4.0+ is designed to provide the best of best-charging performance for the latest devices. It haves the latest Intelligent Thermal Balancing feature which reduces thermal while charging and not only this it also include all features of Quick Charge 4.0. Advanced Safety Features are embedded in it and now dual charge is not an optional feature. USB-PD has the ability to deliver 24 W power because of 3 to 21 Voltage which flows max current of 3 A. But it has some increments on voltages via USB-PD 3.0 PPS (Programmable Power Supply). Snapdragon 670, 675, 712, 730(G), 845 and the latest 855 processor are compatible.
